The first meeting of the Copenhagen ThinkTank 'Focus: Why (do) we fund film?' took place 21- 24 June 2006.160 participants from 31 countries discussed how film policy could best address the challenges and opportunities for film in Europe. Background paper contains information and statistics about public funding of production in Europe, box office for European films, producers and sale agents of European films.
