Abstract
Cijfers over het jaar 2024. In 2024 presenteerden de Nederlandse poppodia 3% meer optredens en ontvingen 8% meer publiek dan het jaar ervoor. Ondanks stijgende publieksinkomsten en hogere subsidies, daalde het financiële resultaat bij de meeste podia. De kosten voor onder meer personeel, programmering en huisvesting stegen sneller dan de inkomsten. De Vereniging Nederlandse Poppodia en -Festivals (VNPF) waarschuwt dat het Nederlandse live popmuziekcircuit zonder structureel robuuste subsidiëring dreigt te worden teruggeworpen naar de vorige eeuw.
