Jaarlijkse uitgave van de BNO waarin belangrijke trends en ontwikkelingen in de Nederlandse ontwerpsector worden vastgelegd. In het Yearbook kijken ontwerpers terug op het afgelopen designjaar en blikken zij vooruit. Voor de editie ’24-’25 is het centrale thema (Off) Balance gekozen. Hoe vinden ontwerpers inspiratie en evenwicht in een wereld die steeds complexer wordt door grote problemen van deze tijd? Is het business as usual of wordt er gezocht naar nieuwe vormen van functionaliteit en betekenis temidden van polarisatie, wereldwijde conflicten, klimaatverandering en technologische innovatie? Dit jaarboek bevat essays en interviews, opvallend eindexamenwerk van Nederlandse ontwerpopleidingen, prijswinnend werk en portretten van beeldbepalende designhelden. De publicatie dient als inspiratiebron voor ontwerpers en het bredere publiek, en nodigt lezers uit om mee te denken over de rol van design in het aanpakken van de uitdagingen van vandaag en morgen.
