Abstract
The function of a presenter in the arts field can be seen as finding a balance between the wishes of the public and the creative and innovative needs of artists. In the search for this balance, a parallel can be drawn between firms in the industrial sectors and the arts world. The author explores the characteristics of both sectors and draws conclusions.
