Abstract
2010 saw an increase in the number of visitors to Dutch cinema from 27.3 to 28.1 million, which accounted for gross box office revenues of 219.371 million euro. The domestic market share in The Netherlands reached 15.8% (4.4 million admissions), a figure that has remained stable over recent years. In 2010 a total of 52 Dutch productions (incl. min. coproductions) were released: 35 features and 17 documentaries. The total production volume in 2010 reached 107 million euro.
