Abstract
Following on from the report 'A netful of jewels : new museums in the learning age' (library: 02-876), the National Museum Directors' Conference and MDA have presented Chris Smith, Minister for Culture, with an implementation report. The report outlines "the concept of UK-wide digital museum in which sets of images, texts and activities from across the country, connected by subject and theme in an integrated learning environment, are linked together."
