Samenvatting Case-study of the city of Rotterdam, as part of the project Urbandivercities, governing urban diversity: creating social cohesion, social mobility and economic performance in today’s hyper-diversified cities. One of the conclusions is that although encounters between visitors are generally superficial and short, the library appears to broaden the social networks of visitors and make them feel more at home in their neighbourhood.
