The 'Culture and School' programme of the Dutch Ministry of education, culture and science aims to strengthen the ties between schools and cultural organisations and to give culture a stronger position in the curriculum.The secondary school subject of 'Culture and the arts' and the associated system of vouchers for pupils to attend performances or exhibitions is one of the consequences of the project. |
