Samenvatting
In 2022, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and following the global impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, ASEF has launched a series of online roundtables aiming to examine current challenges and identify ways to develop new, more relevant and resilient forms of support for Asia-Europe cultural collaboration. Final report summarises the insights, ideas and recommendations highlighted throughout the series and presents guidance for future work in the field of Asia-Europe cultural relations. In the appendix reports of the roundtables are included: Empowering the creative ecosystem (roundtable #1), Culture’s role in addressing the climate crisis (roundtable #2), Sustainable and ethical practices in the cultural sector (roundtable #3), Cultural heritage and tourism in post-pandemic international cooperation (roundtable #4) and Rethinking cultural diplomacy in times of global crisis (roundtable #5). |
