On the 19th of January 2016, the European Parliament adopted the resolution Towards a single digital market act. Document explains the idea behind the act - to extend the concept of the single market including certain regulations established within the EU to the digital level -, its possible impact on culture, e.g. in terms of VAT rates, copyright and movement of goods, persons, services and capital, key actors in the discussion for and against such an act, possible actions and upcoming dates and appointments. |
