Samenvatting Met lit. opg.In the late twentieth century the arts industry not only reflects a myriad of tastes and cultures but also interfaces with a complex international network of film companies, publishing houses, broadcasting agencies, and record companies. In the 80's there was an increasing pressure to reduce public expenditure, further developments would have to be funded through increased sales and private sponsorship. Particular attention is given to the home leisure centre and the products from the cultural industries and the consumer expenditure on entertainment and the arts.
