Samenvatting
The Museum voor Moderne Kunst Arnhem presented the exhibition Art and Feminism 1969-2009. Works from forty years worth of artists that were inspired by feminism, and contributed to the freeing of women in our society then, now and for future generations to come. Art and feminism is a well known hot topic, however, everyone is in agreement about one thing: feminism permanently changed the artistic landscape. Catalogue and essays about the Dutch women's art movement, the Women in the Visual Arts Foundation (SVBK) and the Feministische kunst internationaal exhibitions of 1978 and 1979. |
