Samenvatting The Open Museum is based on a number of ideals. One of them is that the Glasgow Museums wanted to provide a museumservice to the people where they were. This study traces the roots of the Open Museum, to establish the principles and ethos that have shaped its development and the impact it has had on those individuals with whom it has engaged. It conciders the challenges facing the service and raises some questions that can be explored to inform future development. |
