Samenvatting
The congress has its basic aim to provoke a reflection on culture and development in the 21st century. Over 700 participants from over 30 countries and all continents attended the event. The main objectives of the congress were as follows : discuss possible core elements of the right to take part in cultural life; to identify possible identicators measuring the contribution of culture to human development; to develop an action plan for research, information, advocacy and action on culture as an essential element in development. |
