Samenvatting
If anything becomes apparent in this first issue of Cultural Policy Update, it is that there is a need for a more integrative and inclusive way of thinking, involving all stakeholders, from civil society to the private sector, from artists to cultural foundations, which no doubt will result in a shift of power(s) in the course of time. Let us not forget, though, that ‘ Art is fundamental, unique to each of us… Even in difficult economic times − especially in difficult economic times − the arts are essential.' |
