Samenvatting This essay deals with different ways of conceptualizing pictorial representation in art education and their implications. The author's aim is to reintroduce Ernst H. Gombrich's theory of pictorial representation in order to balance the dominant theory and to provide a broad perspective for viewing children's drawings and adults' art images together. |
