Samenvatting
Bert Holvast, director of 'Nederlandse Federatie van Kunstenaarsverenigingen' sheds some light on the WIK, looking at the rules and figures involved. In the second part he outlines how the WIK is embedded in Holland's overall social and arts policy. Information has been used on a meeting with Danish artistsorganizations, policymakers and politicians on september 8, 2001 in Copenhagen. Bert Holvast was invited by the Dansk Kunstnerråd to hold a presentation about the WIK. The Danks Kunstnerråd is trying to do something like the WIK in Danemark.
