Samenvatting In the United Kingdom there is an increasing emphasis on copyright law as a means of supporting artists. In the UK NESTA (National Endowment for the Sciences, Technology and the Arts) was introduced on copyright law as a response to market failure caused by risk in cultural markets, the artists' labour markets and the role of royalties in artists' earnings.
