Charting new worlds : database mapping 2025

The DutchCulture Database tracks the projects of Dutch makers (creative professionals and cultural organisations) from all artistic disciplines around the globe. Each year the international activities of Dutch makers are analysed in order to shed light on the international impact of Dutch makers. 2025 was on par with 2019 as a record year for international activities. Despite increasing challenges associated with working internationally, including political tensions and funding uncertainty, makers are more active than ever. They are topping the charts and charting new worlds.
