Samenvatting
What do audiences think cultural organizations should do to take responsibility for influencing views on climate change? This year Act Green survey has been used by organisations across the UK to influence their sustainability strategies. Some findings: 1) Cultural audiences and visitors are more concerned about the climate emergency than the general public, particularly those aged under 35 and those with children; 2) Most audiences and visitors have made changes to their lifestyle to help tackle the climate emergency and are less concerned than the general population about affordability when thinking about changes which will help the environment; and 3) Audiences and visitors would support a range of fundraising initiatives, and sustainability accreditation would make audiences feel more positive towards organisations and more likely to support them.
