The theme of this issue is non- profit arts governance, public governance, and management and organization theory. The case studies dive into the tensions between the arts and the commerce, novelty and familiarity, innovation and tradition; museums, board culture, stakeholders, public funding and festivals, the role of leadership behavior in arts organizations.
