Culture and creativity : the next ten years

The British government's objectives in the cultural field for the next ten years, to enable people to develop and enjoy creativity throughout their lives. Therefor it is necessary to improve the access to art in preschool years as well as in school. It includes the encouragement of excellence with better funding for the subsidised sector and for individual artists. The participation and access to museums and galleries should be widened.
