Samenvatting
In this paper the role of the parents cultural resources on their children's educational attainment in France and the Netherlands are investgated. A linear structural equations model is used to estimate the influence of cultural practices of the parents on the educational attainment of their children. In both France and the Netherlands parental cultural resources contribute significantly to childrens educational attainment.
