Including the arts : the creative arts, the route to, basic and key skills in prisons

This publication with contributions from a range of people working in the field of prison education, gives an account of the different ways in which the arts are being used to help deliver and improve both basic skills and key skills amongst prison inmates. A series of chapters highlights the role of different artforms - as music, drama, literature, photography, the visual arts and television - and provides examples of actual programmes.
